After some boat building inspiration…?

Isaac, Joseph and Dylan are three University of Tasmania engineering students who have accepted a challenge from Launceston Mayor Albert van Zetten.

The challenge?

To build a cardboard boat capable of carrying both the Mayor and Deputy Mayor to victory at the 2020 Soggy Bottom Cardboard Box Boat Regatta.

Boat building can also be simple! Check out the gallery to see how a simple fridge box can be turned into a race winning boat.
